New Patient Registration

East Barnwell Health Centre has an inner and outer boundary.

We will usually provide medical care to anyone living within the inner boundary - the East Barnwell area of Cambridge; north and south of Newmarket Road and east of Newmarket Road railway bridge and north of Barwell Road railway bridge - see the area highlighted in YELLOW on the map below. 

The practice also has an outer boundary (see area highlighted in BLUE).  If existing patients move to the outer boundary, they will still be entitled to remain registered as patients of East Barnwell Health Centre.   However, patients moving into these (BLUE) areas that are not already registered at East Barnwell Health Centre, will not be able to register with the practice.

Please ask at reception for an explanation of how to register.

Changes

Please let us know if you change your address or telephone number.  A change of address may mean you have moved outside our practice area and you may need to register with another practice.  Please ask at reception if you are uncertain.

When you register you will also be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire. This is because it can take a considerable time for us to receive your previous medical records. When you come to the surgery you will be asked to sign this form to confirm that the details are correct.
